Chad Muska, Nose Slide, The Wedge AZ, Softstyle T-Shirt

This photo was a big deal for me at the time. I’ll be forever grateful to Chad for bringing me on this trip and, in turn, giving me a career. I’d maybe had one or two photos published before this.

This was at the height of The Muska—he could’ve had any of the ‘real’ photographers from that era with him, but he let me roll to AZ in the Muskalaid. After this photo, the magazines started answering my calls. Forever thankful, my friend.

P.S. Only one of them was in focus! That night, I found out I needed glasses to focus a Hasselblad! But in the end, all we needed was one. So damn lucky for more than a few different reasons that night.
