Evan Smith, Kickflip Wallride, Barcelona 2015

Evan is undeniably one of the most talented people to ever ride on four wheels. I was lucky to shoot this kickflip wallride in Barcelona bak in the summer of 2015.

I’ve seen skaters battle for tricks, but this one was on a whole other level of intensity. The heat, the cops, cracked windows, and the sheer willpower it took to land this was incredible. Most of the time, his tricks come quick, but this one definitely did not.

Evan is one of my all-time favorite humans. I'll admit, at first I thought, "Who’s this hippie weirdo?!" But I quickly realized he’s one of the most genuine, kind-hearted people you could ever be lucky enough to meet. On top of his talent, his passion and commitment to his friends have always made him stand out to me. The world would be a much better place if we all acted a little more like Evan.
