About
I’m a commercial photographer and creative content director with 20 years of experience in photography, marketing, and brand design/building. Specializing in lifestyle, product, action, and portrait photography, I've developed a keen eye for detail and a strong command of lighting, composition, and design for various settings and projects. Most importantly, I am passionate about crafting visually compelling stories and building lasting relationships with clients.
As a staff photographer for Thrasher Magazine, I traveled the world, taking photos, conducting interviews and writing articles—all of which contributed to the magazine's successful transition from the old print-based media world into the digital era. Thrasher is now undeniably the industry standard for both print and digital format publications.
At LAZO Footwear, I built and led a talented team of creatives responsible for developing and producing ad campaigns, videos, and a comprehensive social media content library, all while establishing and growing the brand’s social media presence.
At Juxtapoz Magazine, I photographed high-profile artists across the Los Angeles area, enriching both print and online interviews with engaging visual content.
As co-founder of LOUD Headphones, I managed business operations, product development, and production. As Creative Director, I developed unique social media ad campaigns to grow the business. I am very proud to say that, as part of our brand identity, we helped children hear for the first time by partnering with The Let Them Hear Foundation to raise money for kids in need of cochlear implant surgeries.
At Shorty's, Circa Footwear, and SoleTech, I collaborated with marketing and creative directors to develop distinctive visual styles for various brands while refining my skills in lifestyle, studio product and portrait photography.
As a freelancer, my editorial work has appeared in magazines such as Architectural Digest, Sports Illustrated, Bon Appétit, and Vice, among others. Commercially, I’ve worked freelance for brands like Converse, Land Shark, Miller Ultra, Monster Energy, and Nike, consistently delivering high-quality visual content.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Advertising & Digital Imaging from Brooks Institute of Photography. I stay up to date with new media by taking classes at ArtCenter College of Design. Most recently for 3D imaging and creative direction.
My technical skills encompass complex image retouching and compositing. I am highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Blender, Adobe Substance and Capture One.
Additionally, while not my primary focus, I have a working knowledge of and Shopify web design, Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere.
